Hold Terms
Tentatively accepting means you agree to hold this event date while we get a signed contract from the client. The first 48 hours are locked. After that, the hold stays in place — good until you choose to leave it — and you'll have the option to release it if your plans change. If the client signs, this becomes a confirmed booking.
This booking becomes binding only when both sides are committed: your acceptance plus the client's signature. Until the client signs, you are holding the date but it is not yet a binding contract.
Some opportunities are sent to more contractors than available spots. Acceptance is first come, first served: the first contractor(s) to accept while spots are still open get the hold.
Non-disclosure and non-compete terms apply to client and event details shared through EventLock.
Low Offer
Your Hold
You are holding this date. The hold stays in place until the client signs — there's no expiry. If they haven't signed within 48 hours, you can choose to dismiss the booking or keep holding it. If the client signs while you're holding the date, it becomes a confirmed booking.
No penalty — the client took too long to sign, and that's not on you. If you've got nothing else booked that day, you're welcome to keep holding it for now. Declining just frees the date and lets the business find someone else.
On-Time Arrival Bonus
Tapping "I have arrived" shares your location with the operator once — a single snapshot at that moment only, never continuous or background tracking — so they can confirm you're on site. Sharing that one-time location is required to earn the on-time arrival bonus. "I'm on my way" and "Event Complete" never request your location.
Your Notes
For a genuine emergency after signing (illness, etc.) — not a simple schedule change. The business is notified immediately and the slot reopens to other contractors right away. This cannot be undone from here.
